About Nikki

Health and fitness is my passion. From a very young age I have competed in many sports, but specialised in athletics. As an adult, I have run numerous marathons, finished many cycling sportives and completed a variety of triathlons including Ironman Lanzarote in 2013 where I qualified in my age group for the World Championships at Kona in Hawaii.

I entered the TV show Gladiators in 1994, won the live show at Wembley Arena and made the semi finals of the TV series.

For three decades, I have been a qualified personal trainer helping clients achieve their goals. I constantly strive to stay abreast of emerging health and fitness research and training techniques.

I started to focus on nutrition over 10 years ago where I found a great deal of conflicting advice and confusion surrounding “healthy eating”. In 2014 I ran a six-week food trial plan with very fit, hard-training female cross fit athletes. I wanted to show that nutrition has a greater impact on body composition than exercise alone. It was a huge success with every athlete reducing their bodyfat.

This led to me wanting to learn more, so I enrolled on a three-year Naturopathic Nutrition course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London which I completed in August 2018. I gained a deeper understanding of the body's amazing healing abilities and how nutrition and lifestyle play a vital role in good health.
